| Yauhen Shatokhin ((Jauhen Šatochin)) BORN on the 25th of February 1947 in the town of Pinsk, Republic of Belarus 1965 - 1973 – got education in Orel Pedagogical Institute and Kharkov artistic- industrial institute (present-day Ukrainian Academy of Design and Arts) 1972 – a participant part of All-Union, republican, foreign exhibitions (water-colour, drawing, eau-forte, lithography) 1982 – a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR 1985 – a diploma from the Union of Artists of Russia, 1991 – a member of the Union of Artists of Belarus 1988 – a founder and headmaster of children school of fine arts in Pinsk 1989 - 1991 - a member of the executive committee of Brest Region organization of the Union of Artists of Belarus 1990 - 1999 – a deputy of Pinsk town Soviet of Deputies – chairman of the committee on culture, religion and sports 1992 - exhibitioner of workshop "Altena" in Altena, Germany 1993 - medal of Conseiller General a Corbie (France), 1997 – dismissed from the post of headmaster of children school for political reasons 1997 - prize Соnsieller General a Peronne (France), 1999 - legal prosecution by the authorities (government) for political activities 2002 – prize of the National Assembly (France), 2003 - prize Соnsieller General a Peronne (France), 2003 - rank of freeman of Albert town (France), 2004 - medal of Peronne town (France) 2004 – member of the executive committee of Brest Region organization of the Union of Artists of Belarus 2004 - medal of Belarusian Union of Artists "For accomplishments in Fine Arts"          |
